Community Sensory Awareness Workshop Series

Community

In a bid to promote inclusivity, E&A recently held workshops in Kampala and Wakiso aimed at empowering parents, teachers, and caregivers with tools to support children with sensory processing challenges.

Our commitment to inclusion and early intervention inspired us to launch a series of workshops in Kampala and Wakiso. These events brought together parents, teachers, and community leaders to learn about sensory processing challenges and how to support children effectively.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Hands-on demonstrations using sensory tools.
  • Strategies for creating sensory-friendly classrooms and homes.
  • Q&A sessions with our therapists for personalised guidance.

Participant Feedback:
“Eye-opening and practical. I feel more equipped to support my students,” shared one participant, a local teacher.

Next Steps:
We’re planning to take this initiative to more communities and schools as part of our outreach strategy in 2026.
